Resident
Pro comes with an 80 page handbook which covers "Getting started" and most of the
software features.
Swipe cards
Magnetic Stripe Cards encoded on Track 2 with a two digit number (the staff
number printed on the face of the card) are available to purchase direct from specialist
suppliers such as
ICS
- bespoke design available.
Longer cable
An optional 2 metre extension cable is available to extend the 1m cable on the Magnetic
Card Reader.
ClockClick Software
ClockClick time keeping software simply keeps track of how many hours everyone works,
and can be used in any organisation that needs to keep track of staff working hours.
You can buy ClockClick as a separate software product. You do not have to be using
Resident Pro to use ClockClick.
ClockClick
Simple
to use, with virtually no running costs, staff can be clocked on or off - or they
can simply clock on and off themselves. Each member of staff has a unique ClockClick
Number, that is typed
into the computer, or entered using an external input device.
For instance, buy a magnetic card reader, and each employee can swipe their own
magnetic card to clock on and off. If you have speakers, ClockClick will verbally
confirm if the staff member is clocking on, or clocking off - and this helps highlight
any timekeeping issues before they occur.

If any times have been manually adjusted by staff, this is indicated on the Timesheet
with an asterix and the staff members initials (*Dan in this
example screenshot). To make it easier to enter
into payroll software, the totals are shown in both hours and minutes, and in decimal
hours. Print the Timesheet, and if you like, copy it to a Spreadsheet.
Do you need a way of distributing tips easily and fairly? ClockClick keeps track
of employee hours, so it can easily calculate everyone's share of gratuities using
a built in tronc calculator. A tronc is an arrangement for pooling tips that are
then shared between employees. If you setup a 'gratuities' sales category on Resident
Pro, then you will know how much is in the tronc.
There is no need to buy another computer because ClockClick sits on the Windows
taskbar, allowing other software to be used at the same time.
